Texas Yunomi Festival

5:00 pm

June 3, 2017

Yunomi:  a form of teacup, typically made from a ceramic material, being taller than wide, with a trimmed or turned foot. Unlike the more formal chawan tea bowl which is used during the Japanese tea ceremony, the yunomi is made for daily (or informal) tea drinking.

Come and join us in celebrating some of the most beautiful and unique pieces of tea -ware and their artisans and come to TEXAS Yunomi Festival and opening reception, Saturday, June 3rd, from 5 pm – 10 pm.

Admission is free and open to everyone: matcha cocktails and japanese art demos all night.

PRINT HOUSTON print artists will display print images honoring the bowl. ON VIEW: June 3-25
